Every Thursday, 11 am-4 pm

8900 114 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6G 2J7

What is Da’wah?

'Dawah' is the Islamic term for inviting others to learn about Islam. It means "to invite", where we share the teachings, values, and core message of Islam. Dawah is not about conversion, but about honest communication through mutual understanding and respect.

Why give Da'wah?

Giving Dawah is a responsibility for every Muslim, deeply rooted in the teachings of the Quran and the Prophet Muhammad . It serves to deepen one's understanding of the faith and fulfill the role as an Ambassador of Islam.

“Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction...” (Qur’an 16:125)

Interested in Giving Dawah?

Any Muslim, student or otherwise, is invited to apply for the MSA Dawah Subcommittee, a group of volunteers who participate in weekly Dawah booths, and more.

Note: Not everyone who applies is guaranteed acceptance. Following the guidelines outlined in the form description will provide the greatest chance of being granted approval.
